Our assemblies are held fortnightly on Fridays.  Whānau are most welcome to join us to celebrate our tamariki and their achievements and join us for afternoon tea.  

This involves our Year 7 and 8 tamariki from our kura and the Eastern Cluster.  The Tuia Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for our children to develop their leadership skills, goal set and challenge themselves. They are involved in four different activities, two physical challenges, school-based community service and set school projects to complete. 

We belong to the Whanganui Eastern Cluster (Kaitoke, Fordell, Mangamahu, Okoia and Upokongaro Schools.)  Each term larger sporting events are organised for our tamariki to be involved in.  This is a fabulous way for the tamariki to meet tamariki from other kura and compete against tamariki their age in our wider community, these include events like Cross Country.
